Case Study
Working with one of our partners, codeCreation was asked by a multinational gas company to demonstrate vessel tracking and logistics asset awareness within a third party application. To provide vessel awareness around offshore platforms, AIS was proposed, so that all AIS-equipped vessels in the vicinity would be visible. Additional operational inputs can be provided by setting alarms and triggers using geofences.
The solution was broadened, to encompass chartered vessels and individual consignments, by adding SubAura S series tracking units. These low cost devices use satellite communications to permit almost any asset to be tracked on a near-global basis – even assets without their own power source.
